Owner & Designer: Emily Carpenter, known as Em, embarked on her creative journey in the design industry back in 2007. Her career began with designing for a small local record label, followed by several years at a print and design shop. She then progressed to become the Head of Design & Production at a commercial signage company, and later served as the Creative & Marketing Director for a large multi-location entertainment and restaurant venue.

Her extensive experience in various environments has significantly enhanced her skills in communication, networking, project management, and adaptability. Em graduated summa cum laude, at the top of her class in Digital Media Design, earning numerous collegiate awards and triumphing in various design competitions along the way.

With a well-rounded skill set that has been proven repeatedly in her field and the vision for an all-encompassing design and print company to help small businesses being in the works for several years, the vision of Hard Row became a reality in 2023.
